where can I encounter with Monkeys in NSW Australia?
I’m going to surprise my wife for our anniversary with something very spacial. She loves animals and specially monkeys. I spent some time searching for a zoo or a place where you can play with monkeys and feed them etc but couldn’t find any! If you know such a place in NSW Australia where you can encounter with these creatures, then please reply this threat and I’ll be very thankful. Peace

Since monkeys aren’t natives you will only find them in zoos,
I’ve looked but I think you might be a bit out of luck.

I do remember a park in VIC where they had a massive monkey thing set up
in the middle of it, but you still couldnt touch or feed them.

The only animal encounters I know of in NSW are things like:
- swimming with dolphins
- native animal parks where you can feed things like kangaroos
- reptile shows where you can feel and hold snakes, etc.

Taronga Zoo does have a Roar and Snore package where you sleep over the night
in the zoo amongst the animals and then you get up really early to do a special feed run with
the keepers - that might be your best bet at getting close to monkeys.

Here is a link : http://www.taronga.org.au/taronga-zoo/ed ucation/sleep-@-the-zoo/roar–snore.aspx

"Taronga Zoo’s unique accommodation experience, Roar & Snore, has been re-launched. You can now spend the night camping out with the animals, in the comfort of purpose built safari tents, while looking out over the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. The chance to preview this unforgettable experience is truly once in a lifetime opportunity.

Your thoughts on Hispanic grocery store a cover for a drug operation?
GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Police say a street level drug operation has been dismantled with another big drug raid in Gwinnett County.

According to Gwinnett County investigators, a Hispanic grocery store east Grogan Street near downtown Lawrenceville was just a cover for a drug operation.

Inside the Carniceria y Fruteria el Parral, police found what essentially amounts to a drug shop.

On Friday, Gwinnett County police raided the store and two homes simultaneously, arresting eight people and confiscating six guns, 17 pounds of cocaine, three pounds of meth, two and a half pounds of marijuana and $130,000 cash.

The raids come just days after a series of nation-wide raids by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration. Thirty-one people in Gwinnett County were arrested in that raid and all are believed to be associates of the violent Mexican drug cartel La Familia.

Internet Explorer 8…?
I was using Firefox browser on my last pc as I was told it is more secure, and having this new laptop it has Internet Explorer 8…is this safer that the old Internext Explorer browsers or am I better to download Firefox again?

 Hello,

Internet Explorer 8 is proven by Microsoft and many users to be more safer and stable then all of the other earlier releases. I think you should stay with Internet Explorer 8, but you can also download Firefox if you wish. I use Internet Explorer 8, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Google Chrome on my Windows 7 Ultimate HP G60 laptop and they all work great.

Regards,
New York City Police Department
NYPD@Hargray.com

EDIT: For all y’all that say "Firefox is faster then IE" well it all depends on your Internet speed:

I personally use Internet Explorer the most because it’s my favorite Internet browser and it’s fast for me; it just really depends on your Internet connection, like if you have a super slow connection than IE will run slow on a slow Internet connection on a bad computer. I have a great computer with a great Internet connection so Internet Explorer is fast on my computer. Sometimes I do use Safari and Firefox along with Google Chrome because in my believes I think that all of the Internet browsers are really the same because they all take you to the same place in the end; the Internet. I don’t think it’s right that people start up with the whole "Switch to Firefox" deal, it’s just childish and immature; if someone likes their current browser like Internet Explorer and they don’t want to switch that doesn’t mean you have to judge them and start making all these negative comments about the person; you may like Firefox but other people hate it for their own reason. I like all the browsers and I don’t really care which one I use because they will all end up taking you to the same place.
New York City Police Department | Feb 06, 2010

I HIGHLY recommend you stick with Firefox. IE8 may be more stable than it’s predecessors, but it’s still not as fast as Firefox in my experience. Unless you’re weird and don’t like it. Make sure you get a cool-looking theme, or Firefox is ugly. And adblock plus, nobody who has firefox should be without adblock plus.
CassiniCowboy | Feb 06, 2010

Don’t use internet explorer to many security holes. Your better off installing Firefox

Quick Link: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/upg rade.html

and make sure you have anti virus and antimalware software i recommend Microsoft Security Essentials

Link: http://www.microsoft.com/security_essent ials/

Also make sure that you keep your machine up to date by running windows update.
Patrick S | Feb 06, 2010

Yeah, use something that is less used! That’s how you oppose hackers.
exodvr | Feb 06, 2010

Stay with IE 8 you don`t need to install extra programs to block pop ups or anything else , it safe secure and fast plus its easy to modify without adding extra programs that eat up resources
Michael F | Feb 06, 2010

IE8 is fine…I would just use Spyware Blaster with it. Set it up and remember to update it once a week, or, buy it and it will auto-update…

Will there be a male version of DoA: Extreme Beach Volleyball?
I just walked past my brother’s room and saw him playing that stupid Dead or Alive: Extreme Beach Volleyball game, the one with all those girls in bikinis playing volleyball (old game). Why won’t they make a male-version too? I know they made this game for young boys or something, but girls play games too. Lol, I think the game is lame anyways.
oh wow I just realized I can hear the girls’ cries in the game from his room LMAO.

It’s a sad thing that games like that make it to the shelves. I don’t think there will be a "male version" of DoA… mostly because there wouldn’t be a big enough audience for it. Guys don’t want to see guys going around in leotards hitting balls… and though there are more and more girl gamers, I just don’t see it happening any time soon.

Kalidor, one of the individuals in place to oversee the destruction of the orb, joins forces with Red Sonja, as their paths may differ, but they ultimately lead to the same place. An impudent, young prince named Tarn and his guard/manservant Falkon, whose kingdom was unceremoniously wiped out by Gerden as a test for her newfound powers, soon joins them.

What is the name of this 80s medieval-type film?
Ok, I’ve got to apologize first for the very little information available. I was very young in the 80s, so I don’t remember much of this film at all. What I remember is:

Setting:
It was somewhat dark and gloomy - the environment was a war-torn wasteland. I think I recall people impaled on poles.

Characters:
I remember a warrior-type female. Not sure if she was the main character, but I do remember a scene where she took refuge with some creepy guy who ended up trying to take advantage of her while she was sleeping / or he was perv-ing out on her.

Additional Info:
I vaguely recall battling scenes, with knight-esque characters in elaborate armor - some had helmets which resembled different creatures, like eagles/hawks, and some with huge antlers/horns (i think).

It is not:
I know for a fact that this film is not The Sword and the Sorcerer, Excalibur, LadyHawke, Kull, Conan, Red Sonja, Labyrinth, and Legend.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Edit:

Ok I did a bit of research on the three responses below, and unfortunately, none of them seem to be familiar at all.

It is definitely not Mad Max, and it isn’t any of the following: Ator, Deathstalker, Yor, Barbarian Queen, Sorceress, and Gor.

However, I do know now that the 80s had a lot of these strange medieval-esque films.

Thanks for your suggestions, keep ‘em coming.
The Knights (or armored warriors) is what I remember the most. Some had very interesting helmets that resembled animals (a bird of some sort I recall). I believe there were another faction (or it could’ve been the same) who had large horns or antlers.

The feel of the movie wasn’t very cheesy, it kind of gave me that "Willow" or "Legend" feel. But of course, I could be mistaken.

 Possibly "the Beastmaster".

The Characters:

Deathstalker - Deadly fighter and all-around warrior hero who likes to force himself upon women. He also thinks that dog is "the other white meat."
Kaira - Lana Clarkson! Her ideal bra is all support, no coverage.
Princess Codille - Top-heavy maiden in distress who is missing most of her dress.
Salmaron - Old guy who was transformed into a goblin; Deathstalker breaks the spell and turns him back into a man. So, he is a man once again, but still ugly.
Oghris - This warrior looks like Scott Baio, only with muscles and a bare midriff.
Toralva - A witch who might have been Deathstalker’s favorite aunt, or something of that sort. She is burned alive (witches have to put up with that sort of thing all the time).
Numerous aspiring actresses with ample bosoms - Where do you think all of the breast shots came from?
Pig Warrior - A hideous champion of evil. He is the reason that I think the original term for attempting to squeeze someone to death was referred to as a "boar hug."
Munkar - The evil wizard. Why is he evil? Well, he is bald, wears dark clothing, and has a tattoo of a crinoid on the side of his face. Personally, I think that Munkar should have dropped the whole evil angle and marketed his own brand of coffee. Tell me you would not want to start the day with a steaming cup of Munkar’s Mountain Blend.
Howard - Munkar’s pet hand puppet which lives in a box and subsists on a diet of eyes and fingers (it sucks to be a peasant in an evil kingdom).

Buy from a breeder that has a contract. Purchase a copy of Dog World Mag. contact breeders they may not have any pups but will most likely send you to someone who will. ASK many questions such as health clearances like OFA, CERF, BAER. Ask about the lines such as working line, show lines. Expect to pay at least $700.

going fishing this weekend.?
where i live we have had consistent weather in the 40’s for a few weeks. which means ponds that were locked up are now basically thawed. so i have decided im going to hit this small pond because im starting to get cabin fever. last year around this time i caught a 5+ largemouth bass just after the ice out on a top water frog. but this was definitely just a fluke. so i hae some worms, but im more of a lure guy. so with water temperatures still Very cold, any lures you guys can recommend for me? i plan on throwing a few jigs and stick baits, but anything else you can think of? the pond i am fishing in is fairly small, and does not get to deep. but should i stick to cover close to shore, or fling it out in the middle? i also have small little ice fishing jigs that i could possibly put a bobber on with a worm for some sunny or pickeral possibly.

anything you throw out there in cold water has to be fished slower than slow. Because bass are not going to chase anything down, so plan on casting and letting whatever you fish on the bottom sink down and let it sit for moments multiple seconds and then even longer. I would have to recommend adding a scent and a rattle to blue/jigs and brown worms and light green crawdad patterns. and if at all possible raise and lower it about ten inches off the bottom allowing it to settle back as close to where it was raised off the bottom from. In mid winter sure bass will hit a top water bait but they won’t chase them down, so if you want to throw pencil poppers, floating rapalas or frogs cast them and let all the rings from it’s landing on the surface disappear before moving it a few inches, let it sit and take a quarter turn on the reel. jiggle the rod tip and make the top water lures appear as if they are struggling to be alive and that in itself will create more strikes. Because the predator thinks an easy meal this way comes.

 Artie | Jan 22, 2010

Use some spoons or spinners. rostertail spinners work very good when the water is cold but not to cold.
spinners=shiny shiny=attractive attracive=tasty tasty = big fat fish
Mitchell B | Jan 22, 2010

I always have luck with a Rapala jointed minnow (floating) no matter what the weather is like. I also like the Heddon Sonar and the mepps aglia, just be sure to start reeling as soon as the lure hits water so you don’t hit bottom every time, don’t want to keep catching weeds.
ShimanoFisherman | Jan 22, 2010

I’d put a small soft plastic grub on a jighead and work it slow.

What is the theme of this poem?
Don’t worry about saving these songs! And if one of our instruments breaks,it doesn’t matter. We have fallen into the placewhere everything is music. The strumming and the flute notes rise into the atmosphere, and even if the whole world’s harp should burn up, there will still behidden instruments playing. So the candle flickers and goes out. We have a piece of flint, and a spark. This singing art is sea foam. The graceful movements come from a pearl somewhere on the ocean floor.Poems reach up like spindrift and the edge of driftwood along the beach, wanting! They derive from a slow and powerful root that we can’t see. Stop the words now. Open the window in the center of your chest, and let the spirits fly in and out.
