well it depends on what you want from him in terms of a relationship. if its just a booty call here and there, then call him. if you’re hoping it will become a deep loving relationship, then don’t. even though all this new age stuff says women can call too, many people are still traditional in their ideas. if he wanted to be with you for more then just to hung out ever now and again, he would call. if you call it may set a bad precedent, like i can get what i want from this girl. i’m sure if you tell him you wanna hook up he’ll be there in a flash, if you tell him you want to date, there may be a silent pause. the relationship dance is complex for sure, but basically a man pursue a woman he wants. don’t sit about wondering whether he’ll call or if you should call. forget about him. go out there and have some fun and maybe meet someone who thinks you’re worth pursuing. ps. he probably hasn’t call cuz he’s found someone else to have fun with for a bit, when that’s done your phone will be ringing off the hook.

Cancels StarGate, even though it was still one of the most popular cable shows. Ditto for FasScape.

Dropped the Anime from it’s lineup, added it back, then crapped on it.

The only decent series are produced by outside studios, but SciFi tries to eliminate all out of house production. Even the decent shows are milked - BattleStar - what the hell is a "mid season finale?!!"

Sanctuary - some of the worst green screen I have ever seen - almost gives me a headache to watch. Tracking, perspective, lighting - it’s all off. And what’s with Amanda Tapping’s fake british accent? It’s too fake and has no point!

It used to be a cool station - now it’s just garbage. What do you think?!

Really the only thing I watch on SciFi is SG1 SGA and Star Trek reruns. Sometimes they’ll have a good movie that they didn’t make (ie First Contact is up there occasionally)

Who Wants to be a Superhero was good for a laugh, but it’s been away for a while. I don’t have high hopes for it.

But I do agree with you the station for the most part sucks.

Dealing with a momma's boy?
Okay, so my boyfriend and I have been dating for a year and a half. We have never had any big problems in our relationship except for his mother. I love him so much and he loves me as well. We always get a long, yada yada yada.

Now… he’s 24 and a total mommys boy. I can’t stand it. It has been a problem with us since the first 5 months we’ve dated. She controls everything, it seems like atleast. I know he loves me because of how he treats me — like a total princess. He is totally head over heels with me and me with him…. until his mom comes around.

When his mom comes around, she tells him that he can’t be with me because she doesn’t like me. Well, heres this — I’ve only met her 3 times. I dressed nice, cleaned up real nice, acted polite, everything. I gave her no reason to dislike me. At all. When she comes into the picture, he suddenly hates me. He tells me off and wants to end our relationship. When I ask him if it was his mother that put ideas into his head again, he says yes. It’s always her.

She even controlled him to a point where they both tried to get me kicked out of our apartment (didn’t work).
For my birthday, we were going out of town. No… she sent him an e-mail saying that he couldn’t because she didn’t approve.
When my car broke down 300 miles from home, she wanted to go pick him up and leave me out there.
She came over on thanksgiving and she broke up with me because I was upset that he didn’t invite me to dinner and i had to spend it alone. She said I wasn’t being fair. Wtf? I was the one who was alone on the holiday.
She calls and asks him what we’re doing… when we say we are going out somewherre, she goes off telling him what he can spend and what he can’t spend. But it’s ok if I spend all my money, just he can’t spend anything.
She calls on the weekends and picks him up to go to breakfast, then suddenly takes him to her house to work. He has no say.. when i ask what’s up, I get yelled at

I’m having issues dealing with it, especially since Thanksgiving. I have been a secret. He doesn’t want to tell her we’re dating still because she might yell at him.

I understand that it’s his mother. I don’t want to come between them because that’s his mother, so most of the time I don’t say anything. Don’t tell me he’s not my problem and to leave. I am not going to leave him over this woman. He’s the perfect boyfriend all around… with one flaw — mommy.

The reason the mom has a problem with you is that she view you as a threat. She thinks you’re going to "steal" him from what she view as rightfully hers. Please understand this has nothing to do with you and that she would attack anyone her son dates. She is a horribly selfish woman who wants whats best for her, NOT whats best for her son.

This is extreme mommy’s boy behavior to say the least. You definitely have a reason to be upset and i would not take this behavior lightly. Keep in mind that he is unlikely to change as he apparently has no desire to displease mommy. Realize that you’ll always be number two in his book, and he will probably eventually leave you, since he’s already hiding his relationship and has already worked with his mother to out you.

Also realize that this behavior may even be extended towards your children if you ever have them. I’ve heard a few momma’s boy stories but this is one of the worst. The pair may just try to take the kids away from you.

I would seriously keep all doors open including the option to leave him. He is showing you severe disrespect by behaving this way. I believe the only way to make any relationship work is when you both put the partner number one.

lose him. seriously. when you are involved with a momma’s boy you are in a love triangle where you are the other woman. This NEVER changes. Momma will always come first, even when you marry, even when you have children with him and when momma is dead, she becomes a saint that you can never live up to match. You will ALWAYS be second fiddle to momma.

The ONLY way to yank a momma’s boy from momma is for you to become momma but then you’re likely to turn your own sons into momma’s boys.

If you want a partnership with an equal or you want a traditional relationship where the man takes the lead, then lose this guy because he will never never be your equal and he’ll never be man enough to take the lead in a traditional relationship.

Sorry to kind of burst your happy bubble there, but real true unwavering love doesn’t exist anymore. Most nice guys are dead also, I happen to be one of those guys who would actually go for as long as needed without sex to be with the girl I wanted, but we are a dying race. It was officially declared about ten years ago, assholes are taking over the world…It sucks that you’re just hearing this news now. All my species can do now is hope that hummers, anger issues, and goatees all go out of style.Unfortunately for you, girls who actually want a nice guy are going out of business too. This creates a cycle of attitude readjustment. More girls who want the bad guy = more bad guys being created. Outside influences don’t really help either, in movies, guys who blow up innocent people somehow turns on girls, and guys have caught on to that. Acting like they are "the ****" makes girls attracted to them. So all I can say is just hold on, good guys are holed up in various places, you just have to go out of your way to find them. I ran along the street, eager to get home and tell my husband, Ryan, about my day. I looked up at the clear night sky, it was like a navy blue blanket covering the world. Night time was my favorite time of day, the moon was on full show and was reflecting down onto the street. There was only a slight breeze which made the trees sway joyously. Ryan had been acting strange lately, but I put it of as stressing over our money problems. I had went in for a job as an accountant four months ago and today I had been accepted for the job. This meant that I could afford gas to drive my car, instead of walking everywhere. I skipped up to the gate and pushed it open, it groaned in protest as it scraped along the concrete path, it had been hanging of it’s hinges for at least a year now. I walked up the path to the front door, there was something on the door, but in the darkness I couldn’t make it out. I leaned forward slowly and touched it, I brought my finger to my nose and sniffed. It was blood. Shaking, I shoved my hand into my bag and felt around for my keys. Why did I have to be so disorganized? I had a key for everything; the front and back door, every room in the house, cupboards and my car keys. I went through the pile of keys until I found the one I was looking for, my hands were trembling as I unlocked the door. The door swung open, squeaking slightly, the first thing I noticed was the blood stains on the creamy white carpet, black skid marks on the floor, as if someone had been struggling. My gaze followed the blood stains to the foot of the stairs, were Ryan was lying in a pool of blood. I stumbled over to him, tears streaming down my face and blurring my vision. I collapsed to the ground beside him and noticed a gun shot wound in his left temple, there was dried in blood below his nose as if someone had punched him. I reached out and touched his hand. I was trembling. I flinched when I touched him he was as cold as ice. How long had he been lying here? I slowly turned his wrist over and felt for a pulse. Nothing. He looked like a wax work with more realistic details. He couldn’t be dead, it was just this morning I had woken up to him pottering around in the kitchen singing along tunelessly to the radio. It seemed like a lifetime ago. A strange noise escaped my lips and I started screaming but no-one could hear me in this deserted old town.
I screamed and screamed, but no one could here me in this old deserted town.

Ok SO if you were reading along with each story I’ve written you already know what happened but if you didn’t then you might want to read this.Jasmin is basically an orphan from another world(a world for dragons)but she was different she was cursed from the day she was born(her mother was a wizard and was killed)and when wizards are killed while pregnant their children are proofed away to an enchanted orphanage.Where she had the seed of the dragon put in her and the curse made her hair turn black and curly.But being cursed had it’s advantages for her she was given powers/abilities
some from being cursed and some from having the dragon seed
(not a real seed that’s just the term for it, just a figure of speech lol:)
So they gave her these abilities-ability to freeze time~(from curse) she doesn’t use it that often because she has to wait the length of an hour for time to progress again.Next ability erase minds~(being cursed)she can only use it when the person doesn’t desire to know something or doesn’t care or never really thought about it,Example~like she accidentally told her secret,and the person doesn’t know her or love her then she can erase that mind from knowing she was even there or that she said anything.Example why she couldn’t erase mind~If she had to leave the Cullens for some reason

Dark(Poison the spirits~evil) Earth(plants trees flowers) god/goddess(most powerful control and time,space)~most of them are the protectors over the homeland forming the Centurion.(includes Jasmin’s adopted dragon father) ice(snow ice sleet hail) water(rain controls the sea/oceans storms water ice snow) water and ice dragons are some what the same but an ice dragon can’t do anything with water but they can form ice/frost but if it’s melted they can’t use it ,it has to be frozen.Water dragons can freeze the water then re-melt it ,soo water and ice dragons work together when they need too. there are also dragons that rely on the creatures like rodents and birds and bugs and things those are called the peace dwelling dragons Oh and dragons of the winds(they can turn winds into tornadoes and stuff with the winds)these are basically the different types of dragons umm Oh ok back to Jasmin,well her gypsie/dragon family had to take care of her and teach her how to use her powers,and try to keep her under their wing,her gypsie father knew there was something
special about her so he took extra special care of her.He also knew that there was an evil attachment to her not in her characteristics ,Jasmin was the sweetest thing ever,but in her soul.When she was cursed it was put in her and if she was to become overwhelmed with something or loose control of herself and mind it could be unleashed.So her father helps her with that.But one day in the homeland ,Pirates(evil creatures that resemble demons.they were named pirates as a general term for they invaded the homeland that’s what all invaders are called.But these pirates eat dragons) they invaded the land stealing the gypsie children(like Jasmin)and training them and using their power for evil.So Jasmin’s father (knowing that if they got Jasmin(having that evil thing in her) they wouldn’t ever be stopped.)So her family had no choice but to send her to the human world so that she could be safe;For the pirates couldn’t get through to the human world.So aroun

think much of her they didn’t really consider her apart of the family eapecially the children.The mother would always get upset with them when they would treat Jasmin the way they did

Jasmin was with her human family for a total of three years until her life changed from others it would be considered a turn for the worst but to her it was always an escape from this human life that she couldn’t stand.The day her grandfater past away it was a tragedy,but Jasmin wouldn’t dare show it.She was riding in the car with her mother and grandmother.They were riding back home from the funeral because the grandma had a doctors appointment that she couldn’t miss.The rest of the family went out to eat but Jasmin didn’t want to go. Suddenly out of no where a deer ran out in front of the car and just stood there gazing at the lights.Jasmin’s mother tried to swirve out of the way of it but she hit it anyway and crashed into the tree.They were all suverely injured.
Jasmin tried not to think about the curse
while all of this was happening for she new that she was going to die she just knew it,until a mysterious man came
Jasmin recognized his characteristics
from something but it didn’t quite hit her right away till she felt how cold his skin wasthen she remembered learning about creatures such as vampires from gypsie/dragon school.Not knowing that this vampire was kind and friendly she was certain that he was going to kill her.But then she asked a question a question to test his reaction to see if he was stuck on eating/killing her.She asked him to change her into a vampire.
He was slow to react(from being confused)but Jasmin wasn’t certain she was frightened.But he did change her into a vampire and he took her back to his family(Carlisle and Esme)But Jasmin was very different from any other
vampire she was half human because of the dragon’s seed and the curse.For One She couldn’t be totally vampire becuase she’s a dragon and it couldn’t penetrate through that.Second she couldn’t be a total vampire because of the curse being a vampire guarantees
living forever
But Jasmin isn’t suppose to live forever
so that curse and the venom are trying to fight against each other.But Jasmin
was turned into a vampire not a complete vampire but a vampire.Since Edward Cullen was the one who transformed her basically he was her father now,Apart of him was in her so she belonged to him.Esme really clinged to her as well making Esme Jasmin’s mother.At first Edward was distant from Jasmin.But Jasmin eventually figured out the reason.Edward felt sorry for Jasmin because of everything that was going on with her.Plus the fact that it was his fault
she almost died made him angry with himself.He was out hunting chasing a deer.He was playing with it teasing it and it got out of his reach and when he found it again it was dead then he saw that the whole thing caused a car accident.Jasmin’s car accident, When he told Jasmin she reasured him that she was glad to be a vampire it gave her a smidge bit of hope from the curse.
But Edward wouldn’t ever forgive himself.
Eventually Jasmin met the rest of the Cullens(Jasper,Alice,Emmett,Rosealie)
Jasmin was managing very well with
being a part vampire and all.Even though Jasmin was vampire she never had that immediate thirst that all vampires had.It took almost a month for her to be thirsty.Carlisle was very intrigued with Jasmin he assumed that she could still grow and eat and act just like any regular human and she could.
But when she would get thirsty since she was human it would affect her that way.Example her voice becomes hoarce
if she doesn’t go hunting or if she avoids
it.It sounds as if she was wheezing.It’s not very good on Jasmin’s part .

I still can’t believe that I had to retype that over OMg but it’s ok at least you guys get to see it.Umm well I’m going to have to put up another question for First thirst but I wanted to skim through what happened so far.I hope you guys liked it

Author Note~OH and sorry if I burst some bubbles but she is connected to twilight I’m sorry but it was just so fascinating to have her apart of it I weaved her into twilight lol pathetic right but I did she fits in perfectly because I’ve created a reason for why she wasn’t there sometimes when Edward met Bella and why Bella wasn’t able to interact with Jasmin
and everything.But the weird thing is how much she fits in like I looked at the twilight movie and alot of scenes just screamed Jasmin.Like she was meant to be in it ,but if for some reason I get stuck then I guess I’ll have to seperate her from the rest of the twilight thing.

You’re stories are very creative and interesting. I do agree with Jenny about the Cullen reference, I know you like the twilight series (as do I) but you do not need to attach your story to this as you have enough creative talent to tell Jasmin’s story alone.

Firstly, it sounds brilliant although one thing NEEDS to be changed.
Jasmin’s last name.

Cullen is a shockingly popular surname thanks to Twilight, it would probably sound far more original if you choose a different surname. Since Dragons are such a big part of the story the surname Drago or Drako might be good ones.

Unless this is a fanfiction for Twilight in which case STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING! DROP THE PEN OR KEYBOARD.

This would be a very good stand alone story if you severed all connections with Twilight, drop every Twilight reference and start anew as your own story.

Well, I’m going to be honest here.

At first, I thought you had a Mary sue (a flawless Character of a female), but the more you explained the things she can’t do, makes it less of a Mary Sue. Which is good.

Secondly, it sounds like you’re comparing it to Twilight or connecting it. But, I can tell you’re using some examples of the power and changed a few things. So, that’s a good thing. As long there’s no vampire in this, you’re good to go. Last name, Cullen is common in the reality, so don’t worry if others say it’s because you’re linking it to Twilight. You have the right to use it as much as you want. Always remember that.

Thirdly, I think that if you focus more on her family’s history battle a little more, it might interests like what happened before Jasmin got sent to the humans’ world? Or, how is she safe in this humans’ world? Is there any other weakness could have in the humans’ world? Is her power still intact, stronger, weaker, or remains the same? How does she blends in this world? Who would take in immigrant like her? Such like that.

Keep on writing your story and do it how you want it. If people are going to be considering a connection/link to Twilight. Keep this in mind, you wrote it originally and you used your own imagination! Be proud of your writing skills! I think this story can take on very well and it does make more wonder even more. Stick to what you write and don’t let anyone tell you what you can and cannot do in your story/book.

what is better shadow or viper express?
i am thinking about getting a shadow or viper express but I’m not sure which one is better. The viper express is more money but i compared and pretty much only the outside of the gun it better than the shadow express but is one more accurate than the other?

i have to shadow express and it will punch threw a steal plate that is about a millimeter thick at 70 yards and that’s very good for a pellet rifle.

My buddy has the viper express and its an OK gun. I have shot both of them and so far i liked the shadow. (thathat’s your talking about the gamo shadow that is) I was shooting up to 100 yards with the shadow and i has getting about a 1 1/2- 2 inch group which is amazing for an air rifle. i have not tried shooting up to distances that great with the viper. overall i would say for the most part the shadow is better. and i wouldnt look at the prices TOO much, get something your comfortable with and you like. i hope this helps!
